Scientist Comedy Show

Yes, it is true: I'm something of a scientist myself. How has studying science affected my life? Was I still unemployed for a chunk of my mid-twenties? Also yes. This stand-up show will be about a lot of things, but broadly speaking it's about being both a comedian and a scientist, and how both of those things have caused me to suffer in different ways. Thankfully, those ways are deeply human, so I think it will be very funny. I am also brown. That will be the third theme of the show. I'm reworking a bunch of material from my last show, How Now Brown Rao, and making it better before I take it to the Edinburgh Fringe. Some of the show may feature me doing a Scottish accent so that my comedy is better received when I perform there. It would help if you pretended we were already in Scotland while I do the show, and let me know if any of my Australian references don't make sense to your British sensibilities. Even though this is a work in progress, it should be quite good. It's the best material from last year's show combined with new jokes I've written since then. I do get better every year, but I'm still figuring out how all the pieces fit together. I'm very excited to see you.
